Modern hearing care – digital & in person

The integrated
hearing aid care system by Mr. Hear

A quick and easy explanation:

Mr. Hear is a hearing care provider with Master Hearing Care Professionals and qualified specialists, digitally organized and structurally integrated into partner ENT practices. Rather than replacing the traditional hearing care professional, we integrate hearing aid care into a medically sound, digitally supported care system.

What does "hearing care as a system" mean?

Traditionally, hearing care is tied to a physical location: the hearing care clinic. At Mr. Hear, the hearing care provider is not a place, but a digitally organized hearing aid care system that brings together medical, professional, and organizational processes in a new way.

This means:
  • The professional responsibility lies with Mr. Hear's Master Hearing Care Professionals
  • The medical assessment continues to be carried out by ENT specialists
  • Consultation, selection, and fine-tuning are organized digitally
  • Hearing aid care is integrated into ENT practices, not outsourced

The Role of Mr. Hear in the Hearing Aid Care Process

Mr. Hear is not a marketplace, referral platform, or comparison website. Mr. Hear is the hearing care provider delivering your hearing aid care.

Specifically:
  • Hearing aids are selected and configured by Mr. Hear's hearing care professionals
  • Fine-tuning is carried out remotely via video appointments by qualified specialists
  • The entire process is documented and medically transparent

Integration into ENT Practices

Mr. Hear operates its own hearing care studios within partner ENT practices. This physical integration enables direct coordination between medical diagnosis and hearing aid configuration, without communication gaps or unnecessary administrative steps. Through a dedicated physician portal, hearing aids can be selected together with patients and ordered immediately.

The process in the practice:
1

Medical examination by the ENT specialist and medical prescription

2

Selection of suitable hearing aids together with the patient in the practice

3

Delivery of the selected hearing aids directly to the ENT practice

4

Fine-tuning via video appointment by Mr. Hear's Master Hearing Care Professionals – directly from the practice

The medical environment remains an integral part of the hearing aid care process.

Two Entry Points. One Care System.

The Mr. Hear system offers different ways to get started without changing the medical standard of care.

Both paths lead to the same hearing aid care process.

A Shorter Care Path:
Hearing Aid Care Directly at the ENT Practice

The shorter care pathway is an established model for hearing aid care. It provides the foundation for selecting, ordering, and configuring hearing aids directly at the ENT practice together with hearing care professionals.

At Mr. Hear, this care pathway is supported digitally: the medical assessment takes place at the ENT practice, while the professional guidance and fine-tuning of the hearing aids are provided by Mr. Hear. This preserves all essential medical steps while reducing travel and administrative effort.

Digital Hearing Aid Configuration by Hearing Care Professionals

Hearing aid fine-tuning is not automated—it is carried out personally and live.

  • Hearing aid configuration via video call
  • Performed by qualified specialists
  • Based on the ENT specialist's medical findings
  • Ongoing fine-tuning during everyday use

Medical and Legal Foundations

Frequently Asked Questions About the Mr. Hear Care System

Do I have to visit a specific ENT practice to use Mr. Hear?
No. You can come to Mr. Hear with a prescription from any ENT specialist. In some regions, we also work with partner practices where the ENT examination and hearing aid consultation take place in the same location, saving you an additional appointment.
How does digital fine-tuning work?
After the initial configuration, many adjustments can be made remotely through the app with guidance from our hearing care professionals. In most cases, there's no need to visit the practice again.
How long does hearing aid care with Mr. Hear take?
From the first appointment to fully configured hearing aids, the process usually takes 3–6 weeks, depending on your statutory health insurance provider and appointment availability. The trial period is included.
Is follow-up care included after the fitting?
Yes. Mr. Hear provides ongoing follow-up care, including regular check-ups, cleaning, and fine adjustments. These services are included as part of statutory health insurance hearing aid care.
What happens if I don't like my hearing aids during the trial period?
If you're not satisfied during the trial period, your Mr. Hear hearing care professional will first adjust the configuration together with you. Many issues, such as your own voice sounding too loud, disturbing background noise, or wearing comfort, can be resolved through fine-tuning. If the hearing aid itself isn't the right fit, we'll switch you to a different model. The trial period has no negative impact on your statutory health insurance coverage.
Can I use Mr. Hear if I don't have an ENT specialist yet?
Yes. If you don't have an ENT specialist yet or aren't sure which practice is right for you, we'll help you find a partner ENT practice nearby. At our partner practices, the ENT examination and hearing aid consultation take place in one location, saving you additional appointments.
